What you get

Everything below is included, free, from the day you register

For the office

What schools get

Reaches every parent, with no extra work.

Notices

Post once — closures, term dates, trip letters — and every parent gets it on their phone.

School calendar

Add an event. Parents RSVP, and everyone gets a reminder before the day.

Groups

A group for each class, year and club. Parents join the ones that apply to them.

Every language

Parents can ask questions in their own language and get an answer. Nothing to translate.

Private

Invite only. The school decides who joins, and nobody outside can see it.

Free, with no setup

Nothing to install, no logins to create, no one to put in charge of it.

For families

What parents get

Everything about school, in one place.

Notices on every phone

Closures, forms and trip letters reach parents directly, instead of going home in a school bag.

Reminders before the day

Sports day, parents’ evening, the concert — every family gets a reminder the day before.

Books and kit passed on

Families buy, sell and pass on books, kit and instruments among themselves.

Tutors they can trust

Tutors, music teachers and childminders, recommended by other parents at your school.

Parents who know each other

Parents can see who else is in their child’s class and message each other directly.

Answers in their language

A family can ask in their own language and get the answer, without the office translating it.

How it runs

Two steps belong to the school. The rest happens on its own.

  1. School

The school opens its private space

An administrator registers the school. The space exists, it is private, and it has two invite codes waiting.

  2. Staff & parents

Everyone joins by scanning a code

Staff scan the staff code, parents scan the parents’ code — what each can do is decided by which one they scanned. Keep the staff code private: anyone who opens it becomes staff.

  3. Staff

Staff post notices, events and groups

The closure notice, sports day, the Year 4 trip. Parents are told — and reminded before the day, without anybody chasing.

  4. Parents

Parents ask the assistant, any time

When does term end? What time is the concert? Is there school on Monday? Answered from what the school posted, in whatever language the family reads — without the office answering it again.

  5. Parents

    Parents connect with other parents

A car-share to football, the summer fair committee, outgrown kit, a tutor worth passing on. Parents find each other and sort it between themselves, with the school nowhere in the middle.

Before you ask

How long does registering take?

Minutes. Enter the school name and you have two codes to send out. Nothing to install, nothing to procure, no training day.

What do we have to migrate?

Nothing. You are not moving a parent database — you are opening a space and sharing a code. The existing groups can carry on until people stop using them.

What does the programme cost?

Nothing to register, and nothing for parents or staff to join.

Who can see what we post?

Only the people you invited. The space is private and invite-only, it is not indexed by search engines, and an administrator can remove a member or take a post down.

Do parents need to install anything?

They can use it in a browser, or install the app if they would rather have notifications. Joining is scanning the code.

Can we start small?

Yes, and most schools should. Register, give the code to one year group, and see whether those parents use it before you announce it to everyone.

Start with one year group

You do not have to move the whole school on day one. Register, give the code to one class, and see what those parents do with it. That is an afternoon, and nothing to undo.
